The Sheward Partnership Renews Commitment to Transparency with Just 3.0 Label

We are proud to announce that The Sheward Partnership, LLC has achieved the Just 3.0 Label, marking an exciting new chapter in our ongoing commitment to transparency, equity, and social responsibility! Created by the International Living Future Institute (ILFI), the Just program continues to serve as a voluntary disclosure platform that helps organizations strengthen internal practices while contributing to a more equitable and inclusive society.

TSP first achieved a Just Label under version 2.0 in 2024. Since first engaging with the Just framework, our team has embraced it as more than a certification. Just is a tool for reflection, accountability, and growth. With the transition from Just 2.0 to 3.0, ILFI introduced a more rigorous and holistic approach, placing increased emphasis on measurable outcomes, expanded diversity and equity metrics, and deeper alignment with global social justice priorities. The updated version also strengthens requirements around employee well-being, organizational transparency, and inclusive company culture, ensuring that participating organizations move beyond policy into demonstrable impact. Pursuing certification under Just 3.0 allowed us to benchmark ourselves against these higher standards and reaffirm our commitment to continuous improvement.

As part of this process, we conducted a comprehensive review and update of our Employee Handbook policies. This effort resulted in clearer documentation of our existing practices as well as the introduction of new and enhanced policies that support our team more fully. Updates include strengthened commitments to workplace health and safety in alignment with OSHA and local standards, expanded guidance on equitable hiring and advancement practices, and more robust policies supporting employee well-being, benefits transparency, and professional development. By formalizing these policies, we are ensuring that our values are not only practiced, but clearly communicated and accessible to all employees.

Much like our initial experience with Just, this certification process created space for meaningful internal dialogue. We evaluated how our culture shows up in day-to-day operations and identified opportunities to better support our staff. The Just 3.0 framework challenged us to be more intentional, more transparent, and more accountable.

Achieving the Just 3.0 Label reinforces our belief that equity and transparency are ongoing commitments, not one-time milestones. We are proud of the progress we have made and remain dedicated to fostering a workplace that reflects our values.

Through this certification, The Sheward Partnership renews its pledge to contribute to a more socially just and equitable society, and we encourage other organizations to join us in this important work.
