We are thrilled to introduce the newest member of TSP’s design team! Katherine Dorsey, RA is a licensed architect in Washington, DC with a background in housing and institutional architecture. For Katherine architecture is an endless exploration, of which, collaboration is an important key. She enjoys digging into complex problems and working collaboratively towards a solution that is both pragmatic and evocative.
Katherine received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Catholic University of America and Master of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis. She is active in Washington DC’s David J. Varner Pathways to Licensure program as a lecturer and mentor and in University of Maryland’s Mentorship program. Additionally, she is a guest juror for University of Maryland student reviews.
Outside of the office, Katherine has many creative outlets including art, sewing, and baking. Her artwork has been exhibited in both St. Louis and Washington DC. Katherine loves to spend time outside with friends and family and stays active through hiking and swimming.
Katherine has already hit the ground running on an exciting aviation project with our design team. We are so glad to have her join our practice! Welcome, Katherine!
