Bridesburg School

The Sheward Partnership was commissioned by the School District of Philadelphia to design a new 36,500 square foot addition and 35,000 square foot renovation of the existing K-6 Bridesburg School located in North Philadelphia. The new program included administration and cafeteria spaces, as well as extensive classroom additions and improvements. The Sheward Partnership also served as the LEED and Sustainability Consultant. The project achieved LEED Gold certification under the LEED for Schools v2.0 Rating System, exceeding the initial goal of LEED Silver.
